The number of caretta nests on Iztuzu Beach reached 100

MUĞLA (AA) – It has been determined that the caretta carettas, which are under threat of extinction and came to Iztuzu Beach in Ortaca district of Muğla, have built 100 nests so far. In the statement made by the Sea Turtle Research, Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, it was stated that a study was carried out to protect and monitor the nests on the beach with the support of the General Directorate of Protection of Natural Assets of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.
