Speaking at the ceremony held for the delivery of the chairs in the garden of the directorate, Provincial Director of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Fatih Önalan said that they continue to organize events to raise environmental awareness in the society within the scope of Turkey Environment Week. Explaining that they are struggling to raise environmentally conscious generations, Önalan said: “In this context, we started a campaign to collect plastic caps and electronic waste in our city about 1.5 months ago.

This campaign received incredible demand. We are delivering the battery-powered vehicles we bought with the income obtained from these collected plastic caps and electronic waste to our Elazığ Spinal Cord Paralyzed Association.” We see this campaign as the contribution of our little hearts and environmentally friendly citizens to nature and humanity.” After the speech, the chairs were given to the officials of the Elazığ Spinal Cord Paralytics Association to be delivered to disabled individuals.
