President Erdoğan welcomed Niger President Tchiani with an official ceremony

ANKARA (AA) – President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomed Niger President Abdurrahman Tchiani, who visited Turkey, with an official ceremony.

ANKARA (AA) – President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomed Niger President Abdurrahman Tchiani, who visited Turkey, with an official ceremony. The cavalrymen welcomed Tchiani’s official vehicle on the street in front of the Presidential Complex and escorted the vehicle to the protocol gate. President Erdoğan welcomed Tchiani at the main entrance of the Complex. After Erdoğan and Tchiani took their places in the ceremony area, the band played the national anthems of the two countries.

Flags and soldiers representing 16 Turkish states in history were also featured in the ceremony, and 21 artillery pieces were fired. Tchiani greeted the Guard Regiment Ceremonial Guard by saying “Hello, soldier.” The two leaders presented their delegations to each other. President Erdoğan and Tchiani shook hands and posed for the press in front of the Turkish and Niger flags on the stairs. Erdoğan and Tchiani, who started the bilateral meeting, will then chair the meeting between the delegations.

After the meeting, President Erdoğan and Tchiani will attend the signing ceremony of the agreements and the joint press conference. Erdoğan will host an official dinner in honor of Tchiani. At the ceremony, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Director of the National Intelligence Organization İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, Presidential Private Secretary Hasan Doğan, Presidential Secretary General Hakkı Susmaz, Chief Foreign Policy and Security Advisor to the President Akif Çağatay Kılıç, Presidential Defense Industry President Haluk Görgün, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Security and Foreign Policies Board Çağrı Erhan and Ankara Governor Yakup Canbolat were also present.
