Tunçmatik announced the new portable chargers MobiCharge and MobiCharge Pro models developed for electric vehicle users. With these products, the company aims to offer users a more flexible charging alternative, especially in cases where access to fixed charging stations is limited. With the increase in the use of electric vehicles, access to charging infrastructure has become one of the most important topics of user experience.
The density of stations on long journeys, the lack of infrastructure outside city centers, and the difficulty of installing charging units in apartment-type buildings increase the interest in portable charging solutions. MobiCharge offers 11 kW charging power. MobiCharge, one of Tunçmatik’s new products, comes with 11 kW charging power. The product has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mobile application support, IP66 waterproof standard and a 1.9 inch color LCD screen.
The model can be used portable or can be mounted on the wall and used as a more stable solution. This structure makes the device flexible for periodic use at home, summer house, small business or in different locations. MobiCharge Pro has 22 kW power. MobiCharge Pro, the more powerful model of the series, stands out with 22 kW charging support. The device, which has a metal body structure, is positioned for more durable usage scenarios.
MobiCharge Pro can also be controlled via the mobile application. Scheduled charging, remote management and advanced protection features make the device a solution that can be considered for both individual users and commercial fleets. Portable chargers can be an alternative to range anxiety. “Range anxiety” in electric vehicles is seen as one of the important psychological and practical barriers affecting users’ decisions about purchasing a vehicle or planning long distances.
Although portable chargers do not completely eliminate this problem, they can provide additional assurance by allowing users to benefit from the existing electrical infrastructure at different points. This product group is gaining importance especially in regions where fixed charging stations are not common enough, in sites and apartments, commercial fleet operations, roadside assistance services and in scenarios where temporary energy is needed.
Actual usage conditions will be decisive. Tunçmatik Chairman Mehmet Özer stated that portable chargers will become a permanent and strategic component in the future of electric mobility. Özer stated that these products can work more integrated with smart home systems and solar energy solutions in the future. However, the success of portable chargers on the user side; It will be evaluated under headings such as charging time, socket and infrastructure compatibility, safety certificates, cable durability, portability, price level and after-sales support.
For electric vehicle owners, portable chargers stand out as a complementary option that provides flexibility in charging planning, rather than being the only solution that replaces fixed stations.
