Raytheon, a subsidiary of RTX, announced that it has delivered the first Next Generation Jammer systems to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). The New Generation Signal Jammer stands out as an airborne electronic attack system developed in cooperation with the Australian Air Force and the US Navy. The system uses active electronically scanned array (AESA) technology to disrupt enemy radar and communication systems.

Officials stated that the system was designed to increase the electronic warfare capabilities of aircraft by reducing the risk of being detected while performing their missions. Raytheon reported that the first system delivery was made in September 2025, ahead of schedule, and additional deliveries will continue throughout 2026. It was stated that Raytheon will not only be limited to system delivery, but will also provide on-site maintenance and integration support in Australia.
