The claim that Samsung will include a new Pro model in the Galaxy S27 series has become stronger. According to the latest report from South Korea, the Galaxy S27 Pro will come with a 6.47 inch OLED screen and will be positioned as the fourth main option in the series, next to the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27 Ultra models. Galaxy S27 Pro may offer Ultra features in a smaller body. New information has emerged for the Galaxy S27 family, which Samsung will introduce in 2027.
According to the report from ETNews, the company is preparing the Galaxy S27 series to consist of four models. This series will include the standard Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Ultra and the new Galaxy S27 Pro model. The most striking information on the Galaxy S27 Pro side was the screen size. It is reported that the device will come with a 6.47 inch OLED panel. This measurement places the model above the standard Galaxy S27 and below the Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27 Ultra.
According to the leak, the Galaxy S27 Pro will create a new intermediate flagship line in Samsung’s classic Galaxy S family. There are three main models in the current Galaxy S26 series. In this structure, the Galaxy S26 is located with a screen of approximately 6.3 inches, the Galaxy S26 with a screen of approximately 6.7 inches, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a screen of approximately 6.9 inches. The 6.47-inch size spoken for the Galaxy S27 Pro means a separate option for users who want a larger screen but do not want to go to the Ultra level body size.
It is also stated that the Galaxy S27 Pro will not be differentiated only by its screen size. The report states that the device will share many technical features with the Galaxy S27 Ultra. These include the new generation Snapdragon processor and Samsung’s Privacy Display technology. Privacy Display is described as a feature that limits the viewing angle of the screen, allowing the content to be seen more clearly by the person looking directly at the screen.
This technology is currently associated with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and it is stated that it will be used in the Pro model as well as the Ultra model in the Galaxy S27 series. It is among the important details in the leak that the new model will not come with S Pen support. This shows that the Galaxy S27 Pro will be prepared as a separate option that offers some of the high-end hardware in the Ultra model in a smaller body but does not carry the pen experience.
Thus, the Galaxy S27 Pro can create a new flagship class that stands below the Galaxy S27 Ultra but above the standard and Plus models. On the camera side, there is also ambitious information for the Galaxy S27 Pro. Recent reports state that the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra may share the same rear camera setup. It is reported that this installation will include a 200 megapixel main camera, a 50 megapixel ultra wide angle camera and a 50 megapixel telephoto camera offering 5x optical zoom.
However, there is no clear information yet for the battery capacity of the Galaxy S27 Pro. This new positioning in Samsung’s product range has become more remarkable with the information received after the Galaxy S25 Edge. Galaxy S25 Edge was released in 2025 as a model that emphasizes thin and light design. However, according to reports, this model did not see the expected demand and Samsung did not continue the Edge line with a new model this year.
The Galaxy S27 Pro claim was one of the strongest signs that the company will try a different path with a smaller but higher hardware model in the upper segment. The information conveyed for the Galaxy S27 Pro is not official for now. There was no statement from Samsung regarding the number of models, screen sizes, camera system, battery capacity and processor preference of the Galaxy S27 series. However, current leaks show that a new Pro model may be added to the Galaxy S27 family alongside the classic standard, Plus and Ultra distinction.
