Efficiency has been tried to be optimized with the 6th generation eDrive technology.
New cylindrical type batteries have increased efficiency compared to prismatic batteries. The system with 800 volt infrastructure will increase the fast charging by 0, meaning that you will only need to charge it for 10 minutes for a range of 300 km.
Aerodynamically, it shows how much importance is given to efficiency with its drag coefficient of 0.20cd.
A completely plant-based surface material called “Verdana” is used in the interior.
One of the most striking innovations in the interior is the digital screen positioned under the glass called BMW Panaromic Vision and covering the entire console.
This system, which works integrated with the 3D head-up display, is managed by four new and self-developed high-speed computers called “super-brain”. In this way, security systems can work 5 times faster and driving systems can work 10 times faster.
Mass production of the new architecture is planned to begin in 2025 at the Debrecen, Hungary factory.
