The Indian Ministry of Defense has approved a new $25 billion military procurement plan from Russia, including the new S-400 air defense systems.
In the written statement made by the Indian Ministry of Defense, it was stated that the Defense Acquisition Council approved the military procurement budget of 25 billion dollars for the army.
Within this budget, it is envisaged to purchase new S-400 air defense systems from Russia.
India signed a $5.3 billion S-400 agreement with Russia in 2018, and 2 of the 5 systems within the scope of the agreement had not yet been delivered.
