It was reported that the memorandum was signed by Saudi Arabian Deputy Defense Minister Khalid bin Hussein al-Biyari and Ukrainian Deputy Chief of General Staff Andriy Hnatov.

In his statement on his social media account, Zelenskiy stated that they met with Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and signed a document of cooperation in the field of defense before the meeting. Zelenskiy said, “This (document) lays the groundwork for more contracts, technological cooperation and investment, and strengthens Ukraine’s international role as a donor country in the field of security.” made his assessment.
