The General Directorate of Meteorology published the current weather forecast for June 3. According to the report, showers and thunderstorms will be effective in many regions across the country. According to forecasts, occasional precipitation is expected in the inner parts of the Mediterranean, the Central Anatolia Region, the inner regions of the Black Sea and the northern and western parts of Eastern Anatolia. In addition, it is predicted that there will be heavy rain in Edirne, Kırklareli, Afyonkarahisar, Adıyaman and Diyarbakır surroundings during the day.
It was reported that especially in the inner parts of the Central Black Sea and around Kastamonu, Yozgat and Sivas, rainfall may increase its effect from time to time and reach locally heavy levels. While partly cloudy weather will generally prevail in the Marmara Region, it is estimated that some provinces may experience short-term showers later in the day. In the coastal areas of the Aegean and Mediterranean, it will be mostly cloudy and occasionally clear.
While a very cloudy sky is expected throughout the day in the Central Anatolia Region, showers are expected throughout the region. It was stated that similar local rains would be effective in many parts of the Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia. In the Southeastern Anatolia Region, it is estimated that showers and thunderstorms may be seen around Adıyaman and Diyarbakır after noon. According to meteorological evaluations, while temperatures are expected to be above seasonal norms in the northwestern parts of the country, it has been reported that temperatures in other regions will remain above normal in some places.
