Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Kurtulmuş received representatives of the Assyrian community

STOCKHOLM (AA) – Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, received representatives of the Assyrian community in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, where he was on an official visit. In his meeting with the representatives of the Assyrian community in Stockholm, Kurtulmuş said that they had positive meetings with the Turkish Grand National Assembly delegation during their visits to Finland and Sweden, and that he was pleased to meet with the representatives of the Assyrian community on the occasion of these visits.

Stating that Türkiye has become a rising power in the international arena, especially in recent years, Kurtulmuş said, “This is a situation that directly affects our friends from Türkiye in a positive way.” We see that Turkish citizens here are in serious integration with the Swedish people. You have close contact with Türkiye, and we are very pleased for that. Hopefully, we will continue on our way by increasing these beauties and solving the problems.
