In his speech to those who came to meet him at Trabzon Airport, Özel thanked those who supported him in their march to the Turkish Grand National Assembly and Anıtkabir and in the holiday celebration program.
He said that in his first step outside Ankara, he would go to Gümüşhane, Tokat, Çorum and Nevşehir for the local by-elections to be held on Sunday, June 7. Stating that they started the first march from Trabzon, Özel said: The first steps were given to Trabzon for this march. I came to Trabzon with great pleasure.
