AMD has released AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.6.1 WHQL for graphics cards and systems with Radeon graphics. While the new version brings game support for F1 25: 2026 Season Pack and World of Tanks: HEAT, it also fixes some bugs seen on Radeon RX 9000 and RX 6000 series graphics cards. AMD focused on game support and bug fixes in the new Adrenalin version. AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.6.1 WHQL has become the new certified Radeon driver released for Windows 10 and Windows 11 users.
The version signed by WHQL is distributed as a stable channel update among AMD’s official driver packages. With the new version, support for F1 25: 2026 Season Pack and World of Tanks: HEAT has been added. Radeon users playing these games can use the relevant support profiles directly from AMD Software with version 26.6.1. In the version, the intermittent application crash problem seen when playing Subnautica 2 and Marvel Rivals on Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards has been fixed.
In the same release notes, AMD also announced that the image distortions that can be seen when playing Enshrouded on Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards have been fixed. Another problem fixed by 26.6.1 WHQL is on the Zero RPM mode side. The bug related to the Zero RPM mode reactivating itself when the monitor goes to sleep mode or is turned off on Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards has been fixed in this version. AMD also shared some known problems that persist in the new version.
Intermittent application crashes or driver timeouts may occur on AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 systems while playing Battlefield 6. When AMD Record and Stream is used in the same game, texture flickering or image distortion may occur on some AMD graphics products. Another issue listed on the Battlefield 6 side affects Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards. Even if AMD FSR Upscaling and AMD FSR Frame Generation are turned on in the game, these features may appear passive in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition.
There is also a known problem for Radeon RX 7000 series and above graphics card owners using Blender. AMD stated that intermittent application crashes may occur while running Blender and recommended that users experiencing this problem install AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.3.1. The list of known problems also included information that a purple screen may appear on Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards when using SteamVR with the HP Reverb G2 headset.

On the professional side, Radeon PRO W7900 Dual Slot, W7900, W7800 48 GB, W7800, W7700, W7600, W7500 and W7400 series graphics cards are supported. Radeon PRO W6800, W6600, W6300, W5700 and W5500 series cards are also included in the 26.6.1 compatibility list. On the mobile side, AMD Radeon RX 7900M, 7800M and 7600M series and Radeon RX 6800M, 6700M, 6600M, 6500M, 6300M, 5700M, 5600M, 5500M and 5300M series GPUs are supported.
Radeon PRO W6600M and Radeon PRO W5500M models are also compatible with the new version. AMD recommends using manufacturer-provided drivers for laptops and all-in-one systems. The company states that the Adrenalin package downloaded from AMD.com may not include some manufacturer-specific features and system-oriented improvements. The release notes also state that AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition does not include support for handheld console gaming devices.
Those who use these devices need to go directly to the packages offered by the device manufacturer on the driver side. AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.6.1 is compatible with Windows 11 21H2 and above. On the Windows 10 side, 64-bit Windows 10 21H2 and above versions are supported. Administrator authority in Windows is required for installation. The package content includes AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.6.1 Driver Version 26.10.19.02 for Windows 10 and Windows 11.
The Windows Driver Store version for this package is listed as 32.0.31019.2002. The release notes also include Driver Version 25.10.43.12 and Windows Driver Store Version 32.0.21043.12001. The new package also includes the Ryzen AI NPU MCDM Driver version 32.00.20101.3760 driver. The date information for this component was shared as April 4, 2026. This driver package is not recommended for AMD Radeon products running on Apple Boot Camp; Manufacturer support is used in these systems.
