SİVAS (AA) – Historical rock caves, which are thought to have been built approximately 3,200 years ago for shelter and shelter in the Zara district of Sivas, welcome visitors with their structure resembling an apartment. There are about 100 caves in the village of Tödürge, which were carved into rocks and used as residences many years ago. It is estimated that the rock caves in question were created by carving side by side and one under the other.
It offers its visitors a different experience with the appearance of caves in the form of small spaces. In some parts of the caves, there are walls and peepholes built with stone and khorasan. The caves, which are estimated to have been built approximately 3,200 years ago for shelter and shelter, resemble the appearance of apartments. It is known that the caves, which are estimated to have been used by Rome and various civilizations, later hosted other civilizations.
Bekir Eroğlu, one of the visitors, stated that he came to see the caves when he learned that their history dates back to ancient times, and said, “These structures that rise like skyscrapers are really interesting. I would like everyone to come and see them, these places are our historical richness.” he said.
