ASUS launched the Zenbook DUO (2026) UX8407 model, the new member of its dual-screen laptop series, in Turkey. According to the company’s statement, the device is offered for sale in Vatan Bilgisayar stores as of June 17, with prices starting from 99,000 TL. The new model maintains the dual-screen structure of the Zenbook DUO series and comes with updates in terms of processor, design and artificial intelligence performance.
With this model, ASUS especially targets mobile professionals, content producers and users who need multitasking. Ceraluminum case and more compact design stand out. One of the notable innovations of Zenbook DUO (2026) was the use of a case structure called Ceraluminum throughout. This material, which ASUS says combines the feeling of ceramic with the durability of aluminum, aims to keep the device both light and durable.
The company says that the new model has a 5 percent smaller case compared to the previous generation. Other prominent changes in the design include the redesigned support leg, hidden hinge structure and the MagLatch system, which allows the keyboard to be placed more easily between the two screens. According to ASUS, this platform can offer artificial intelligence performance up to 180 TOPS. The system is supported by a dual battery structure with a capacity of 99 Wh. ASUS states that this combination was developed with the aim of all-day use even during intense workloads.
On the cooling side, it is stated that the 45W TDP level has been reached with larger air ducts and 97-bladed fans. Double 14-inch 3K OLED screens are used. Zenbook DUO (2026) comes with two 14-inch 3K ASUS Lumina Pro OLED screens. One of the most important design changes of the device is the significant reduction of the gap between the two screens. ASUS says that this area has been thinned by 70 percent compared to the previous generation, thus providing a more complete viewing experience.
The displays offer 1000 nits peak brightness, 48-144 Hz variable refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. Anti-reflective coating may also be important, especially for on-the-go usage scenarios. ScreenXpert software, which manages multi-screen use, detects that the device is opened more than 175 degrees and can activate sharing mode and collaboration tools. The sound system has also been updated. ASUS states that it uses a six-speaker sound system in the new model.
The Dolby Atmos supported system includes front-facing tweeters and dual-diaphragm woofers hidden in the hinge section. This structure aims to make the device more powerful not only in terms of productivity but also in terms of multimedia consumption. The dual-screen laptop market continues to remain niche. The Zenbook DUO series continues to be one of the products that go beyond the classic laptop form.
