Applications have started for the ENHANCER PRO Entrepreneurship Grant Programme, which is funded by the European Union. The program, which has a total budget of 3 million euros, will provide support to entrepreneurs in 18 provinces across Turkey to establish businesses, create employment and contribute to local development. The program is organized by the International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), T.R.
It is carried out in cooperation with the General Directorate of Development Agencies of the Ministry of Industry and Technology. Applications will continue until June 19, 2026. ENHANCER PRO will provide business start-up support to entrepreneurs. The grant program opened within the scope of ENHANCER PRO, which is carried out with the aim of “Improving Entrepreneurship Capacities for Sustainable Socio-Economic Integration”, aims to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The focus of the program is especially on women’s entrepreneurship, sustainable employment and supporting local economies. In this context, it is aimed to provide not only business start-up support to entrepreneurs, but also to contribute to creating sustainable business models. Citizens of the Republic of Turkey, as well as Syrians under Temporary Protection and individuals under international protection, will be able to benefit from the grant program.
The program covers 18 provinces. The ENHANCER PRO Entrepreneurship Grant Program will be aimed at entrepreneurs living in 18 provinces across Turkey. The provinces within the scope of support are as follows: Adana Adıyaman Ankara Bursa Elazığ Gaziantep Hatay İstanbul İzmir Kahramanmaraş Kayseri Kilis Kocaeli Konya Malatya Mersin Osmaniye Şanlıurfa These cities constitute the main application areas of the program in terms of both local development potential and strengthening of the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Women’s entrepreneurship and employment come to the fore. Pınar Yapanoğlu – ICMPD Turkey Representation Portfolio Manager Making evaluations about the program, ICMPD Türkiye Representation Portfolio Manager Pınar Yapanoğlu stated that ENHANCER projects produce important results in the field of entrepreneurship and economic development. Yapanoğlu stated that within the scope of the ENHANCER project, which has been carried out since 2020, capacity building training has been provided to thousands of entrepreneurs, hundreds of SMEs and cooperatives with grant support.
Expressing that these studies have been carried forward with ENHANCER PRO, Yapanoğlu said that they attach importance to the spread of entrepreneurship models that support women’s participation in the workforce. In this respect, the program aims to contribute not only to the establishment of new businesses, but also to the formation of a more inclusive and sustainable economic structure. Approximately 2 thousand entrepreneurs were reached in 18 provinces.
Following the announcement of the program, face-to-face information meetings and online webinar events were held in 18 project provinces. Approximately 2 thousand entrepreneurs were reached through these events. At the meetings, entrepreneurs were informed about the results obtained from the previous grant programs of the ENHANCER project, application conditions, evaluation processes and the scope of the new grant program.
