Gaziantep TÜGVA Summer School was introduced

GAZİANTEP (AA) – The 2026 introductory meeting of the “Summer School Project” implemented by the Turkish Youth Foundation (TÜGVA) was held in Gaziantep. At the introductory meeting held at Şahinbey Traditional Sports Center this year with the theme of “Let Our Summer School Be Colorful”, TÜGVA Chairman İbrahim Giriş told the journalists that, as the TÜGVA family, they want the children to have their feet on the ground.

Stating that the “Summer School Project” is important for children, Fifth said: “Today, we are launching our summer schools in Gaziantep. In our summer schools, there will be activities in many fields, from Quran education to the life of our Prophet, from football tournaments to culture and art projects. I hope to invite each of you to these versatile events and activities. I would like to inform our parents that we will spend the summer period to the fullest while having fun and learning.” Gaziantep Governor Kemal Çeber stated that he wished the students to have a fun and educational summer holiday and that they would continue their inter-institutional collaborations.

Şahinbey Mayor Mehmet Tahmazoğlu thanked those who contributed to the realization of the program. After the speeches, the children who were successful in the “Bookworm” competition were given their awards. TÜGVA Gaziantep Provincial Representative Veysel Karakuş, Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayors Abdulkadir Sökücü and Zehra Ünal, Şehitkamil District Governor Ömer Hilmi Yamlı, Directorate of Communications Gaziantep Regional Director Mücahit Taşkın, teachers and students attended the program.
