ISPARTA (AA) – Süleyman Demirel University (SDU) Department of Mathematics Dr. Lecturer Member Asuman Zeytinoğlu, while continuing his academic career, graduated first in the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences, where he studied at the same university. While the students who received their diplomas at the graduation ceremony of SDÜ Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation were happy, Zeytinoğlu, the top student of the department, was appreciated for his remarkable success.

In his statement to journalists, Zeytinoğlu stated that he was working in the Department of Mathematics and that he enrolled in the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation four years ago in order to improve himself in a different field. Stating that he wanted to receive education in a profession that directly touches human health, Zeytinoğlu said, “After my doctoral education, I wanted to improve myself in a different branch.

I preferred it to be a department that touches people, especially in the field of health. Physiotherapy and rehabilitation have a very valuable place in human life. That’s why I decided to study this department.” he said. Stating that being the first in the department was not a planned goal, Zeytinoğlu said: “I did not set out with a goal such as being the first. However, I have the understanding of doing my job in the best way possible.

I acted with the discipline and work habits that come with being an academician. When the work discipline was also involved, the result emerged spontaneously. This success makes me happy and proud.” Zeytinoğlu stated that being an academician and a student at the same time was challenging at times, and that he gave lectures in part of the day and took part in clinical practices in the other part. Emphasizing that he received support from faculty members and students throughout the process, Zeytinoğlu said, “My classmates accepted me among them.

I spent four wonderful years with them. They added energy to me. I hope I was able to contribute to them, too. This process was an unforgettable experience for me.” he said. Stating that there is no age limit for learning, Zeytinoğlu advised young people to improve themselves in different fields. Mother Neşe Zeytinoğlu stated that she was very proud of her daughter’s success and said, “It is really difficult to explain this feeling.

Father Mehmet Rıfat Zeytinoğlu stated that his daughter has repeated her previous success in mathematics, now in a different department, and said, “She went through a difficult process.
