Natural gas pipe was punctured during infrastructure work in Kahramanmaraş

KAHRAMANMARAŞ (AA) – A natural gas pipe was punctured during infrastructure work in the Onikişubat district of Kahramanmaraş.

During the wastewater parcel work carried out with a work machine on Bayazıtlı Boulevard in Karamanlı District, the natural gas pipe passing through the area was punctured.

After the puncture, natural gas began to spread to the region.

Upon notice, police and gas distribution company teams were dispatched to the scene.

While security measures were taken in the region, the road was closed to vehicle traffic and the natural gas flow was cut off.

As a result of the work of the teams, the damaged natural gas pipe was repaired.

After the intervention, natural gas flow was restored and infrastructure works started again.
