While NESA Aviation continues to contribute to the Turkish defense industry with its activities in the design and production of critical systems, it also strengthens its presence in international fairs. The company focused on new collaborations and export opportunities by participating in DSA 2026, which is considered one of the largest defense and internal security organizations in Asia. Speaking to DefenseHere.com within the scope of the fair, NESA Aviation General Manager Nebi Erdem stated that Malaysia is in a strategic position in terms of opening up to the Asian market.

Erdem stated that they carry out various partnerships and continue their export activities in the region, especially in the Philippines, Cambodia and Indonesia. Drawing attention to the strong presence of the Turkish defense industry at the fair, Erdem said, “In this fair, we see how far the Turkish defense industry has progressed, how much the ecosystem has grown and how much its export potential has increased.” he said.

T-Fillox and T-Genox were among the products that NESA Aviation highlighted at the fair. Stating that the systems developed for use in military operation fields, field hospitals and disaster areas can produce and fill oxygen on-site, Erdem emphasized that the technology in question was developed from the Oxygen Box systems used in warplanes and said, “These systems, which we developed from the technology used in fifth generation aircraft such as the F-35 and the National Combat Aircraft, are very light, compact and high-tech products.” he said.

Pointing out the difficulty of logistics processes, especially in island countries, Erdem said that the systems provide a significant advantage in the field with their portable structure. Erdem said, “Oxygen can be produced at any point with products that are large enough to be carried by one or two personnel and even shipped in sedan vehicles.” he said. Stating that NESA Aviation participated in defense fairs held in different countries throughout the year, Erdem reminded that they also took part in the World Defense Show held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, at the beginning of the year.

Stating that the organization in Malaysia is of critical importance in terms of expanding into the Asian market, Erdem noted that, as a company, they aim to take part in the next fair to be held in 2028 and further develop their existing collaborations.
