A simultaneous operation was carried out in 7 provinces within the scope of the investigation carried out regarding the 38th Ordinary Congress of the Republican People’s Party. A total of 13 suspects were detained during the operations.
The investigation continues on allegations that delegates’ voting choices were interfered with during the congress. Financial Crimes Fighting teams took part in the work carried out under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the information obtained, searches were made at the addresses determined in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Şanlıurfa, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis and Malatya. Some digital materials and documents were also seized within the scope of the operation.
It was learned that the investigation continues in many aspects.
