SİVAS (AA) – Ali Yavuz and the members of the Council Board, which took over the club after Sivasspor, one of the Trendyol 1st League teams, did not have a presidential candidate, met with the Deputy President of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Mecnun Otyakmaz. According to the club’s statement, the members met with TFF Deputy President Mecnun Otyakmaz in line with the efforts initiated to find a new management for Sivasspor, which remained on the council board after the general assembly on May 19.
Council President Ali Yavuz and members Kemal Çağlayan and Ali İzgi were present during the visit. Yavuz stated that they need a strong management in order for Sivasspor to regain successful days, that is why the negotiations are continuing, and informed Otyakmaz about the developments during and after the general assembly and asked for support. Mecnun Otyakmaz, one of the former presidents of Sivasspor, stated that he was ready to support Sivasspor within the means possible and stated that a strong board of directors should be formed and all business people should come together around Sivasspor.
