KIRKLARELİ (AA) – Kırklareli Governor Uğur Turan stated that 15 organizers who were detained last month on the allegation of human trafficking were arrested.

KIRKLARELİ (AA) – Kırklareli Governor Uğur Turan stated that 15 organizers who were detained last month on the allegation of human trafficking were arrested. Governor Turan, in his statement to journalists after the Public Order Press Information Meeting, said that efforts are continuing to ensure the peace and security of the city. Explaining that importance is given to the fight against irregular migration, Turan said, “22 operations were carried out against the organizers of immigrant smuggling, 15 of the 43 organizers were arrested and 19 vehicles used in immigrant smuggling were confiscated.” he said.

Stating that four operations were carried out in the studies carried out against FETO, DAESH, DHKP/C, MLKP and other terrorist organizations in the said period, and 2 suspects were arrested, Turan noted that the rate of clarification of violation of home immunity, intentional murder, deprivation of liberty, sexual crimes, insult, threat and other public order crimes was 98.9 percent. Turan stated that 129 operations were carried out against drug trafficking and drug supply crimes to protect young people, and 131 suspects were detained, and emphasized that the work on this issue is being carried out meticulously.
