KONYA (AA) – 5 suspects who were detained in the fake gold operation organized in Konya’s Seydişehir and Beyşehir districts were sent to the courthouse. Police teams took action upon information that fake gold was being sold to jewelers in two districts. After the investigation, 5 suspects, 2 of whom were women, were detained. During the searches carried out on the suspects, 43 pieces of 1 gram gold, which were determined to be fake, 53 thousand 500 lira and 6 drug pills were seized.
