A new statement was made about Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who returned to his post as CHP Chairman after the court decision. Journalist Atakan Sönmez, who was appointed as Kılıçdaroğlu’s press advisor, made evaluations about the process. Speaking in front of Kılıçdaroğlu’s office, Sönmez stated that the official assignment has been completed and that his duty as chairman has actually started. He said that no new appointment has been made yet regarding the Party Central Executive Board (MYK).
Information on Kılıçdaroğlu’s Health Condition: In the statement, it was also shared that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu had a voice disorder. For this reason, it was stated that his ability to make a direct statement to the public depended on his health condition. Sönmez noted that an evaluation could be made in a short time. “Wherever the CHP Chairman is, that is where the Center is” Atakan Sönmez, in his evaluation of the party management, emphasized that his term of office started after the court decision.
Stating that Kılıçdaroğlu will continue his work at the CHP Headquarters in the future, Sönmez stated that there is no finalized calendar at this stage. Sönmez also stated that some of the allegations in the public do not reflect the truth and that an approach that will create tension in the process will not be followed.
