The finalists of the 2025 Locus Awards, which are considered one of the most prestigious recognitions in the literary world and bring together professionals and readers of the genre, have been officially announced. The awards, which are organized annually by Locus magazine and determine the best works in the speculative fiction genre, brought together the giant names of science fiction, fantasy and horror literature this year.

As a result of open voting between February 1 and April 1, the top ten finalists in each category were determined. It was announced that the award ceremony will be held in Berkeley, California, on May 30, 2026, in partnership with the Bay Area Book Festival.
