Mathematics teacher Pacci said: I am interested in Turkish classical music. There is a saying that music is food for the soul. I also think that music is effective in a healing sense. We organize events with my musician friends at certain periods in order to add color, excitement and happiness to patients who undergo dialysis in the hospital for a long time. Seeing that little happiness in the eyes of the patients is the greatest source of happiness for us.

We perform music concerts for patients to relieve their problems. We are getting good feedback. When you leave here, people ask you when you will come again. This makes us very happy. We continue our work. – It was a great morale and motivation for us. 63-year-old Abdülselam Karat, who has been receiving dialysis treatment at the hospital for a year, stated that he has been to many hospitals so far, but he has never seen the warmth in Silvan State Hospital anywhere.

Karat, I would like to thank our chief physician, doctors, nurses and cleaning staff. They take very good care of us. Our teachers came here and sang folk songs and songs for us and they made us very happy. I offer my respects to everyone who prepared this program. he said. 18-year-old Melek Karaalp, who is connected to a dialysis machine three times a week and has been receiving treatment for 5 years, stated that they had a lot of fun thanks to the event.

Karaalp, We were very bored. It was the same routine every day. Our musicians coming and singing gave us great morale and motivation. It entertains us and makes us happy. I would like to thank our chief physician and musicians very much. he said. Silvan Dr. Yusuf Azizoğlu State Hospital Chief Physician Fesih Uyan also said that they welcomed teacher Pacci’s request with great satisfaction. Chief Physician Uyan continued his speech as follows: We have created a suitable working environment for our patients receiving treatment in the dialysis service in our hospital.

Our musician friend comes at certain periods and sings songs and folk songs to our patients. Our patients are very satisfied. We see from the smiles on our patients’ faces that the effectiveness is good. Music is food for the soul. In this context, we organize very nice activities with our teacher friends. The treatment process is long and tiring, so dialysis patients can feel a little depressed. These activities we do are good for the morale and motivation of our patients.

We can already understand this from the smiles on their faces.
