A mother and her child, affected by smoke in a house fire in Mardin, were taken to the hospital.

MARDİN (AA) – A mother and her child, who were affected by smoke in a house fire in Nusaybin district of Mardin, were taken to the hospital.

A fire broke out in a basement flat on Tandoğan Street, 8 Mart District in the district, for an unknown reason.

Upon notice, fire brigade, 112 Emergency Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

The mother and her child, who were affected by the smoke in the fire, were taken to Nusaybin State Hospital.

The fire was extinguished with the intervention of the teams.
