Ubisoft announced the release date for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, the pirate-themed game of the Assassin’s Creed series. The game, prepared as a remake of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, will be released worldwide on July 9, 2026. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced; Ubisoft will release it for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. On the PC side, the game will meet players via Ubisoft Store, Steam and Epic Games Store.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is released on July 9, 2026. Developed by Ubisoft Singapore, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a remake of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, which was first released in 2013. While remaining faithful to the original, the game has been rebuilt from scratch and built on Ubisoft’s latest Anvil engine. In the new version, the visuals have been updated and the scope of the gameplay has also expanded.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced; It comes with an evasion-oriented combat system, improved stealth mechanics, renewed track structure, deeper navigation features and new story content. Set in the Golden Age of Piracy, the game takes players back to the story of Edward Kenway. Rebellious pirate captain Edward Kenway is drawn into the centuries-old conflict between the Assassins and the Templars as he pursues fame and fame across the Caribbean.
The story also includes well-known pirate figures of the period, such as Blackbeard, Anne Bonny and Calico Jack. Ubisoft announced during the Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Showcase that GRAMMY-nominated artist Woodkid is returning to the series. Woodkid will collaborate on a reinterpreted track for Assassin’s Creed that will be announced later in the year. The standard version of the game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC for 59.99 euros / $59.99.
The Windows PC version will be available on Ubisoft Store, Steam and Epic Games Store. PC system requirements have been announced previously. Players who pre-order Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will receive the Blackbeard’s Crimson Pack. This bundle includes an exclusive costume for Edward Kenway, a pair of swords, and a pistol set. Ubisoft also announced Standard, Deluxe, and Collector editions of the game. Standard Edition includes the base game.
The Deluxe Edition, available digitally only, includes the main game as well as the Master Assassin Character Pack and the Master Assassin Sailor Pack. In addition to the contents of the Deluxe Edition, the Collector’s Edition comes with an Edward figurine, Edward metal brooch, special SteelBook, fabric map and different physical collectible items. Many Ubisoft studios accompanied Ubisoft Singapore during the development process of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
Ubisoft Barcelona, Ubisoft Belgrade, Ubisoft Blue Byte, Ubisoft Bordeaux, Ubisoft Bucharest, Ubisoft Chengdu, Ubisoft Da Nang, Ubisoft India, Ubisoft Kyiv, Ubisoft Montpellier, Ubisoft Montreal, Ubisoft Philippines, Ubisoft Quebec, Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Sofia also served as co-developers of the game. A one-time internet connection is required to download the game. After the download is completed, the main story part of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced can be played completely offline.
