BMW Motorrad, of which Borusan Otomotiv is the Turkish distributor, renewed its F Series models. The New BMW F 800 GS, which offers ideal driving and performance in the Adventure segment, the New BMW F 900 GS Adventure, which has been redesigned for long journeys, and the New BMW F 900 GS, which stands out with its improved off-road capabilities, are preparing to take their place at Borusan Otomotiv BMW Motorrad Authorized Dealers in the first quarter of 2024.
BMW Motorrad’s New F Series models in the Adventure segment make a difference with their innovative technologies, high-performance engines and low weight. ABS Pro and DTC technologies take driving dynamics even further in the New F Series models, which offer Rain and Road driving modes as standard.
More Power More Stunning Exhaust Sound
The 853 cc 2-cylinder engine, which has an important role in improving BMW Motorrad’s driving dynamics and entered its inventory in 2018, has been revised to 895 cc in the New F Series models. Thanks to the increased volume unit, the New BMW F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure offer 105 hp power and 93 Nm torque, while the New F 800 GS attracts attention with 87 hp power and 91 Nm torque. With this change, the impressive exhaust sound of the New F Series becomes more attractive, while the high torque value spread at every stage of the engine speed accelerates the motorcycle in a much shorter time.
Lightness Comes with Hard Plastic, Aluminum and Steel
New steel parts designed specifically for the 2-cylinder engine of the new BMW F 900 GS, F 900 GS Adventure and F 800 GS reduce the weight of the body compared to old models. Similarly, the 14.5 liter fuel tank, which has been redesigned and made of durable plastic, provides an advantage of 4.5 kg, while the redesigned rear part of the model allows saving 2.4 kg in total weight. The optional Akrapovic signature exhaust silencer supports the efficiency of the New F Series with its 1.7 kg lower weight.
Maximum Driving Pleasure with New Driving Modes and Traction Control System
Offering Rain and Road driving modes as standard, the New F Series models also include Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and ABS Pro systems, which are the basis of safe driving. The new F Series models configure the traction control system and engine torque power according to the preferred driving mode, while also regulating the Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) system.
New telescopic front suspensions developed by Showa also contribute to the refined ride of the New F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure. The new BMW F 900 GS, whose off-road capability has been increased compared to the previous generation, offers an adjustable titanium telescopic fork, fully adjustable center suspension and handlebar, as well as the M Endurance chain in its Enduro Pro equipment. The New F 900 GS and New F 800 GS offer the Dynamic ESA (Electronic Adjustable Suspension) system, which makes a difference in its class, as an option.
Optimized Ergonomic Structure
The ergonomic structure of the new BMW F 900 GS, optimized specifically for off-road driving, stands out in the handlebar, seat and footrest sections. The higher handlebar position and the new design of the fuel tank, as well as the footrests positioned lower, provide advantages to the user, especially on rough terrain.
While an adjustable gear selector is offered as standard in all three models of the new F Series, the kinematic structure of the new gear selector allows the driver to control the 6-speed transmission more easily and precisely.
Lightings with LED Technology
Thanks to the LED headlights offered as standard in the new F Series models, a wider visibility is achieved and the driver is more easily noticed. In the New BMW F 900 GS, New BMW F 900 GS Adventure and New BMW F 800 GS, signals and other lighting in addition to the LED headlights also use the same technology.
While the entry version of the new BMW F 900 GS Adventure is offered in Blackstorm metallic, the Ride Pro version can be preferred in matte White Aluminum color. While the new F 800 GS attracts attention with its Lightwhite solid color in the entry version, the Sport version of the model offers an alternative with the Triple Black variant of the Racing Blue and Blackstorm metallic color.
