GeIL announced its new generation DDR5 memory technologies at Computex 2026. The company’s prominent innovation was the DDR5-8000 MT/s memory modules working with the JEDEC standard. New memories eliminate the need to open an In this way, when the system is turned on, the memories run on the standard profile. The user does not need to enable the XMP or EXPO profile or set the memory frequency and timing in the BIOS. The company designed this structure as True Plug.
Memory performance directly affects the system experience in content production, artificial intelligence development, gaming and workloads that require high bandwidth. GeIL’s new DDR5-8000 modules are prepared to offer this performance without requiring manual adjustments. On the compatibility side, GeIL states that the new memories are optimized for Intel’s 15th generation platform. The list includes Core Ultra 270K Plus, Core Ultra 265K and Core Ultra 245K processors.
On the motherboard side, models with Z890 and B860 chipsets stand out. It is expected that the new memories will give their best performance in these combinations. GeIL is also working with industry partners to ensure the compatibility of the new memories with future platforms. However, at this stage, the company has not shared a clear list of sockets, processor families or motherboards for the next generation platforms.
For this reason, the exact compatibility framework announced is currently based on Intel 15th generation processors and Z890 and B860 motherboards. The other innovation in Computex 2026 was the AQUARIUS Diamond RGB series. GeIL is exhibiting this new memory family for the first time at Computex 2026. The series is distinguished on the design side by its aluminum cooler and diamond-cut RGB light bar. The diamond-looking structure in the light bar is used to make RGB lighting appear brighter and more refracted.
AQUARIUS Diamond RGB series comes with two color options. Graphite Black is designed for black-toned systems, and Glacier White is designed for users who want to collect white systems. In this series, GeIL combines a simple-looking cooler design with RGB lighting. The frequency, capacity and kit options of the new AQUARIUS Diamond RGB family have not been announced yet. GeIL states that the series uses high-quality aluminum heatsinks and benefits from testing processes that focus on reliability and signal integrity in memory modules.
These details are especially important in systems operating under high load for long periods of time. GeIL’s Computex 2026 stand will be located on the first floor of Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 between 2-5 June 2026. The company’s stand number was announced as I0401a. DDR5-8000 JEDEC memories and AQUARIUS Diamond RGB series will be exhibited here. GeIL did not share price and sales date information for the new products.
It is not yet clear which capacity options the DDR5-8000 JEDEC modules will be available for sale. Likewise, the frequency and kit options of the AQUARIUS Diamond RGB series will be announced in the future.
