ISTANBUL (AA) – Federation of Associations that Value Human Beings (IDDEF) delivered 61 thousand 722 shares of sacrifice entrusted by philanthropists to 2 million 413 thousand people in need in 56 countries. According to the statement made by the Federation, IDDEF sacrificed 61 thousand 722 shares in 56 countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Balkans within the scope of the 2026 overseas obligatory sacrifice organization by proxy, with the slogan “Share Your Sacrifice with Your Brother”.

Following the slaughter in accordance with Islamic procedures and sensitivities, sacrificial meat was distributed to 2 million 413 thousand people in need. IDDEF also completed the slaughter of cattle donated for Gaza. 73 thousand 500 canned meats weighing 800 grams will be delivered to the region. In organizations carried out in crisis regions such as Gaza, Afghanistan, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Lebanon and Syria, sacrificial meat was delivered to families struggling with war, drought, famine and poverty.

Sacrifice distributions were carried out in refugee camps, madrasahs, orphanages and the most remote settlements in the country. IDDEF recorded every stage, from the selection of the sacrificial animals to their slaughter and distribution. Following the slaughter and distribution, an SMS notification was sent to donors and it was shared in which country and region the sacrifices were made. Federation teams also met with children in the villages, madrasahs and orphanages they visited within the scope of sacrifice organizations.

Children experienced the joy of the holiday together by giving them holiday clothes, toys, balloons and various gifts.
