In line with the decision taken by the International Federation of Football Federations (FIFA), Super League teams Gaziantep FK and Gençlerbirliği, as well as MKE Ankaragücü, which competes in the lower leagues, were included in the transfer ban list.
Following the decisions made by FIFA, it was stated that a transfer ban would be imposed on three clubs for three periods due to economic reasons, and it was learned that the ban in question could be lifted if the debts to the players were paid and the financial obligations were fulfilled.

Experts stated that this penalty imposed by FIFA is not permanent and that the sanction can be lifted if the clubs solve their economic problems contrary to the legislation. It was also stated that Gaziantep FK, MKE Ankaragücü and Gençlerbirliği must pay their debts to the players and fulfill the necessary financial obligations in order to make transfers again.
