ERZİNCAN (AA) – A graduation ceremony was held for 3 thousand 154 students who completed their education at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University (EBYÜ). In the program held at the University’s Yalnızbağ Campus, students studying at faculties, colleges and vocational schools made a ceremonial pass. After the moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, Enes Atmaca, the top student at the Faculty of Law, made a speech on behalf of the graduating students and nailed a plaque to the graduation register.
Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Batuhan Mumcu advised the graduating students at the ceremony to never stop studying. Mumcu thanked the families and said, “Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University is a valuable university named after our Prime Minister. This is actually a name that will set an example for all of you in your ideals. Because he started as a shepherd in the village, continued his university life, then took on valuable positions, became deputy, ministry, prime minister and now continues in a very valuable position for the Turkish World.
While determining the name of our university, when talking about the school you graduated from, please never forget these names who value this work. “Under the leadership of our President, we will continue to move forward with confident steps into the future, ready for the Türkiye Century vision.” he said. – “We handle all cases except for matters of love.” Governor Hamza Aydoğdu also greeted the families of students coming from various provinces of Turkey and said: “Just now, while our students were passing by, the students of the Faculty of Law prepared a beautiful banner.
The banner says: ‘We handle all cases except for romantic matters.’ I have only one piece of advice for you. There is only one language in the world, the language of the heart. Other languages are foreign languages. Be careful with your heart and soul. May God open your path, your luck and your footsteps. “I entrust you to God, I love you very much.” Rector Prof. Dr. Akın Levent also stated that although the university is only 20 years old, it has achieved great success in national and international rankings considering its age.
Addressing students and families, Levent said: “We are experiencing the excitement of graduating you and the pride and joy of welcoming you to our country. Today, you are opening a new page of a beautiful story written with effort, patience and hope. Dear families, today is actually your holiday. You have brought your children to these days by caring for them and sparing nothing. “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to each of you on behalf of our country and our university for raising individuals who are good for the country, the nation and humanity.” After the graduation oath was taken, the students threw their caps into the air.
CHP Erzincan Deputy Mustafa Sarıgül, Mayor Bekir Aksun, political party provincial heads, academic and administrative staff, students and their families attended the ceremony.
