The General Directorate of Foundations and the General Directorate of Security under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism have signed a new project that puts a smile on the faces of orphaned children, just a few days before Eid al-Adha. In this context, VGM provided holiday clothing support to 28 thousand 555 orphans and orphans and provided aid to the children in the amount of 5 thousand TL per person. In the statement made by VGM on the subject, it was stated that the institution, which maintains one of the best examples of social solidarity, provided holiday clothes and shoes worth 5 thousand liras to 28 thousand 555 children.
In this context, holiday clothing gift cards valid for aid were delivered to the relevant children before the holiday. FESTIVAL SUPPORT FOR 60 THOUSAND CHILDREN With the support project carried out by VGM’s 25 regional directorates across the country, it is aimed for children to enter the holiday in a happier and more peaceful way. In addition, the institution provides aid to relevant children during Ramadan Feast, thus providing holiday support to a total of 60 thousand children during both holidays.
IT’S ONGOING FOR 2 YEARS Within the scope of VGM’s holiday clothing support project, which was implemented as of 2024, a total of 78 thousand 832 orphans and orphans were provided with holiday clothing support in 2024 and 2025. This year, Eid support was provided to 31 thousand 445 children during Eid al-Fitr, while aid was provided to 28 thousand 555 children during Eid al-Adha, providing pre-eid support to a total of 60 thousand children.
Foundations General Manager Sinan Aksu made the following statements in his statement on the subject: “We ensure that our orphaned children enter the holiday in a happier and more peaceful way with the pre-festive support we have been providing since 2024. In this context, we provided holiday support to a total of 60 thousand children this year.”
