Hyundai Motor Company introduced the “IONIQ 5 N eN1 Cup” racing car at the official practice round. This unique electric racing car is based on the award-winning IONIQ 5 N high-performance electric vehicle. Standing out with its sustainability, IONIQ 5 N marks the beginning of a brand new era in the racing world.

IONIQ 5 N eN1 Cup uses the same powerful electronic system as the IONIQ 5 N, which has a more powerful powertrain and higher battery capacity than the current model. While the IONIQ 5 N draws attention with its rapid acceleration and high power output of up to 650 PS, it also has high durability for track driving. The IONIQ 5 N-based racing car, the first high-performance EV model of the N brand, was designed entirely for the future of motorsports and was specially developed from A to Z.

Developed for the N1 class like the Elantra N TCR, the IONIQ 5 N eN1 Cup is a first-class racing car with its high-level track performance. In addition to all this; The new eN1 class, which will be introduced this year, will also allow teams to cooperate with various tire brands and models without being tied to a single manufacturer.

The IONIQ 5 N eN1 Cup racing car features a redesigned body kit. A very powerful model with low and wide style fenders, wider tires for better handling, increased downforce with front spoiler and rear wings and improved aerodynamic performance.

The car is equipped with basic safety elements such as roll cage, racing seats and seat belts for advanced safety measures, and is equipped with fire extinguishers specially developed only for electrical fires to ensure the highest level of safety in races.
