Solid Aero Founder Selçuk Fırat spoke to DefenseHere.com and explained how 2025 was and what they plan to do in 2026. Stating that he has been interested in unmanned aerial vehicles since 2010 and that he had made developments for this before, Selçuk Fırat said that they produced new unmanned aerial vehicles with the Solid Aero company.

Stating that 2025 has been a very productive year for them, Fırat said, “Especially with the development of our own unmanned aerial vehicles, Talay, Zada, Kovak, Karagun and Toydu unmanned aerial vehicles. Three of them have reached the TRL-9 level. Here, our Karagun, Kovak and Zada unmanned aerial vehicles have become sellable at the TRL-9 level. The production lines of Talay and Zada have been made ready at Yonca Shipyard Shipyard.

Fırat stated that they are planning to sell to Europe and that they also want to complete their domestic sales. Fırat: “We have three unmanned aerial vehicles that we are talking about and expect to be in the TSK inventory this year.” he said. Finally, Fırat stated that they are planning a surprise for SAHA EXPO and that they will demonstrate a new unmanned aerial vehicle at this event. Regarding this UAV, Fırat said, “We are developing an unmanned aerial vehicle that does not exist in Turkey, is rare in the world, and only two companies have it in America and does not have it in Europe.” he said.
