The new version based on Android 16 was first launched in South Korea and covers tablets with both Wi-Fi and cellular connection support. These changes are adapted to the large screen structure of the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE models. On the connection features side, there are improvements for Storage Share, Auto Hotspot and Smart View.

One UI 8.5 also includes support for file and media sharing with Apple devices via Quick Share. This feature is initially available on certain Galaxy devices.
