Samsung has released the One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE models. The new version based on Android 16 was first launched in South Korea and covers tablets with both Wi-Fi and cellular connection support. One UI 8.5 distribution has begun for Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE series joined the new models included in Samsung’s One UI 8.5 distribution schedule. The update came to the Fan Edition tablet family immediately after the distribution started for the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
This time, Samsung’s update process on the tablet side included the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE models at an early stage. The software published in South Korea is listed with the build number CZE3. Version numbers seen for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE include X520XXU7CZE3 and X5200XM7CZE3. The update package is approximately 2.8 GB in size and brings the May 2026 Android security patch. The distribution is progressing gradually.
Therefore, the appearance of the update may vary depending on the country, model variant and software channel of the device. Users can manually check for the update with the Download and install option from the Software update section in the Settings menu. One UI 8.5 brings a renewed system-wide interface to the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series. The new version features transparent blur effects, floating interface elements, smoother animations and streamlined app layouts.
Adjustments have also been made to the multitasking experience, application scaling and navigation for tablet screens. With the update, new capabilities are also offered on the Bixby side. Samsung’s voice assistant can process natural language commands better and has a more useful structure in terms of accessing previous conversation history. There are also improvements in artificial intelligence-supported tools such as typing assistance, voice processing and contextual suggestions.
The lock screen is also among the areas renewed with One UI 8.5. Automatic layout adjustment for person and pet wallpapers, more clock customization options, and downloadable interactive wallpapers come with the new version. These changes are adapted to the large screen structure of the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE models. On the connection features side, there are improvements for Storage Share, Auto Hotspot and Smart View.
One UI 8.5 also includes support for file and media sharing with Apple devices via Quick Share. This feature is initially available on certain Galaxy devices.
