Xiaomi listed its new POCO branded tablet, POCO Pad C1, on its global product page. The price of the tablet, which comes with a 9.7-inch 2K screen, 120 Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor, 7,600 mAh battery and HyperOS 3 interface out of the box, has not been announced yet. All features of POCO Pad C1 have been revealed. Xiaomi clarified the technical features of the tablet by adding the POCO Pad C1 model to its global product page.
The new model comes with a 9.7-inch 2K resolution IPS screen. Offering a resolution of 2048 x 1280 pixels, the panel has a screen ratio of 16:10. The screen has a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 180 Hz. The brightness value rises to 500 nits in typical use and 600 nits in outdoor mode. The screen side of POCO Pad C1 also includes TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Flicker Free and Circadian Friendly certificates.
Xiaomi’s product page emphasizes DC dimming, low blue light and flicker-free display technologies. This structure positions the tablet for long-term reading, video watching and daily use scenarios. The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 platform. The processor, which comes with a 6 nm production process, has an eight-core CPU structure and a clock speed of up to 2.9 GHz. On the graphics side, there is Adreno 610 GPU.
POCO Pad C1 is listed with 4 GB RAM 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM 128 GB storage options. LPDDR4X is used on the memory side and UFS 2.2 is used on the storage side. The device also supports storage expansion up to 2 TB via microSD card. On the battery side, the 7,600 mAh capacity stands out. POCO states that up to 1.7 days of usage time is given with this battery. According to the data shared by the company, the tablet offers over 15 hours of online video playback, over 18 hours of audio playback and over 16 hours of online reading time.
On the charging side, there is 18 W fast charging support. According to Xiaomi’s technical specifications page, the box contents include a 15 W adapter, USB Type-C cable, SD card ejection pin, quick start guide and warranty card. Box contents may vary depending on the region. The body of POCO Pad C1 has a height of 226.51 mm, a width of 147.97 mm and a thickness of 7.4 mm. The weight of the tablet was announced as 406 grams.
The screen-to-body ratio is 84.7 percent. The model is listed in blue and gray color options. Xiaomi states that the device has a metal unibody back cover design and has gone through more than 40 quality control processes. On the camera side, there is an 8-megapixel f/2.0 camera on the back. On the front, there is a 5 megapixel f / 2.2 camera. Both cameras can record 30 FPS video at 1080p and 720p resolution. AI face unlock support is also available on the tablet.
On the connection side, there is Wi-Fi 5, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network support, Wi-Fi Direct, Miracast and Bluetooth 5.0. On the audio side, there are dual speakers, Hi-Res Audio support and 3.5 mm headphone jack. Sensors include virtual ambient light sensor, accelerometer and Hall sensor. POCO Pad C1 comes with Xiaomi HyperOS 3 out of the box. On the software side, Xiaomi Interconnectivity features attract attention. When a compatible Xiaomi phone and tablet are used with the same Xiaomi account, features such as data transfer, connection between devices and answering phone calls via the tablet come into play.
For these features, devices must have HyperOS 3 or higher, Bluetooth, WLAN connection and Xiaomi Interconnectivity settings turned on. The tablet also includes Google’s on-screen search feature. Users can initiate a Google search by circling, pointing or tapping on the image, video or text on the screen. Availability, results and compatibility for this feature may vary depending on the region and software version. No price information has yet been shared for POCO Pad C1 on Xiaomi’s global page.
According to the information provided by Notebookcheck, the product has been added to POCO’s global product range as a new tablet option. On the hardware side, the model is positioned in the same class as Redmi Pad 2 9.7.
