The Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) signed contracts with ASELSAN, Machinery and Chemical Industry Inc. (MKE) and ASELSAN Konya for various projects. SAHA 2026 International Defense, Aerospace Industry Fair is held at Istanbul Expo Center with the organization of SAHA Istanbul, Turkey’s and Europe’s largest defense, aviation and space industry cluster. Various contracts are signed in the Turkish defense industry at SAHA 2026, where Anadolu Agency is the Global Communication Partner.

In this context, SSB made contracts with many domestic companies. A contract regarding the High Power Laser (GİZEM) Project was signed between SSB and ASELSAN. SSB President Haluk Görgün and ASELSAN Chief Executive Ahmet Akyol attended the ceremony. Another signature was signed between SSB and MKE for the Thermobaric Bomb Supply Project (MK-82-T, MK-83-T, MK-84-T) and High Speed 35 mm Gun (YHT-35) Project. Haluk Görgün and MKE General Manager İlhami Keleş attended the signing ceremony.

SSB also signed the High Speed 25 mm Gun (YHT-25) Project contract with ASELSAN Konya. Haluk Görgün and ASELSAN Konya General Manager Serhan Özsoy attended the ceremony. “We have signed multi-disciplinary projects involving high technology” Görgün stated in his speech that SAHA 2026 is continuing at full speed and said, “Today is the fourth day. Pointing out that the professional participation rate is quite high, Görgün stated that approximately 80 thousand visitors visited SAHA 2026 as of yesterday.

Regarding the project signatures, Görgün said, “We have signed multi-disciplinary projects containing high technology that our land, air and naval forces need, which will increase their strike power and have a very high export potential.” made his assessment.
