The Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) signed contracts for various technologies with STM, HAVELSAN and Hyperever companies. SAHA 2026 continues at Istanbul Expo Center with the organization of SAHA Istanbul, Turkey’s and Europe’s largest defense, aviation and space industry cluster. Various contracts are signed in the Turkish defense industry at SAHA 2026, where Anadolu Agency is the global communication partner.
In this context, SSB signed contracts with many domestic companies. SSB Vice President Hüseyin Avşar, STM General Manager Özgür Güleryüz and SSB Operations Support Group Head Hacı Ömer Karakuzu attended the signing ceremony of the Anti-Operator Kamikaze System Development (TIRPAN) Project signed between the SSB and STM. In his speech, Hüseyin Avşar stated that TIRPAN is a project that will create significant value in the field.
Özgür Güleryüz also thanked SSB and said that the implementation of projects such as TIRPAN made them happy. “TOYGAR-N Project will make great contributions to our gendarmerie in the fight against narcotic crimes.” “TOYGAR-N Project Contract Amendment-2” was signed between SSB and HAVELSAN. Hüseyin Avşar, HAVELSAN General Manager Mehmet Akif Nacar and SSB Operations Support Group President Hacı Ömer Karakuzu were present at the ceremony.
Avşar stated that the project they signed with HAVELSAN was signed within the scope of the operation support concept and said, “It is a project that will make great contributions to our gendarmerie in the fight against narcotic crimes. I would like to thank all my friends who contributed.” he said. Nacar stated that the contract change they signed will be evaluated for the use of the Gendarmerie General Command and said, “This system has given good results in the field and the number of systems is aimed to increase.
We are building a system that can eliminate foreign dependency in terms of both software and hardware.” he said. The Four-Legged Hybrid Robot Development (AKBAŞ) Project was signed between SSB and Hyperever. Hüseyin Avşar, Hyperever General Manager Çayan Baykal and Hacı Ömer Karakuzu were present at the signing ceremony. Avşar stated that they say “we are in” in every field of the defense industry and said, “Four-legged robots are a very rapidly developing field in the world.
We say we are in the game in this field as well. Hyperever is a very new but very promising company. I wish it good luck.” he said. Çayan Baykal pointed out that this project will be a project in which they will study the physical artificial intelligence concept that the world talks about and works with, and stated that they will continue to develop domestic technologies for the needs in the field.
