TULPAR’s tower 35 mm is entrusted to ASELSAN KORHAN

OTOKAR Military Vehicles Export Product Management Manager Dr. Ufuk Aybar gave information about the TULPAR tracked platform with ASELSAN KORHAN 35 mm gun turret integrated. According to Aybar, the system has an elevation angle of 45 degrees and a descent angle of -10 degrees and has an Akkor active protection system and a laser warning solution. Dr. Ufuk Aybar made important statements to the Defensehere.com reporter at the SAHA EXPO 2026 fair.

Aybar stated that there is a KORHAN 35 mm gun turret produced by ASELSAN on the Tulpar platform exhibited at the fair, and said, “Tulpar is a tracked platform with a weight capacity from 28 tons to 45 tons, so we can obtain different configurations.” Dr. Aybar gave the following information about the KORHAN system: “It has a 35 millimeter weapon system and a movement elevation angle of 45 degrees and -10 degrees. It has a radar, the Akkor system is integrated and it also has a laser warning system.

We are integrating this complete system on Tulpar.” Aybar underlined that these integration types were possible thanks to the flexibility inherent in Tulpar’s design from the very beginning. “35 mm KORHAN was Tulpar’s most striking configuration” Dr. Ufuk Aybar stated that the 35 mm KORHAN tower attracted great attention at the fair and said, “The KORHAN system we exhibited here was the 35 millimeter version. We are also integrating a 120 millimeter system.

We introduced the 120 millimeter version at the last fair.” Aybar emphasized that they can integrate weapon systems of different diameters from 30 millimeters to 120 millimeters into Tulpar. Dr. stated that especially the 35 mm KORHAN system is a truly “complete combat system” with its radar, Incandescent and laser warning system. “This system is currently one of Tulpar’s most remarkable and mature configurations,” said Aybar.
