In a future where the internet is overwhelmed with spam, ads and AI slop, are you ready to protect the internet? ZeroPrompt, a detective game where you can question NPCs by speaking, was announced at the InterfaceX26 event. Is This Really Human? ZeroPrompt basically resembles the dynamics of Papers, Please. We work as “Operators” in a giant company called “Syndicate”. Our goal is to examine users on the internet and verify that they are human.
If there is even the slightest suspicion, ban them from the internet. Where it really shines is the NPC interaction. There are no pre-written, multiple-choice dialogue trees in the ZeroPrompt game. Instead, there are hand-designed NPCs with character traits and backgrounds. These NPCs are played by LLM. We question suspects directly via chat and measure their instant reactions. We try to catch vulnerabilities using tools such as browser history and task manager.
No Cloud, No Latency: 0 Local Artificial Intelligence When it is said “There is LLM in the game”, a cloud-based system that requires constant internet and has a delay comes to mind. However, ZeroPrompt only uses your computer’s graphics card. All artificial intelligence models used run locally on your own computer, without connecting to any server. Your conversations do not leave your device, thus providing complete privacy.
Moreover, a graphics card with 6GB VRAM is sufficient to run this system on your own machine. You can add ZeroPrompt to your wishlist now: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4306040/ZeroPrompt
