It was claimed that the upper segment option of the series could be released under the name “Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra”. The emerging information indicates that Samsung may switch to a simpler structure in its product naming strategy, which has expanded in recent years.
While the new foldable models are expected to be introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event to be held in July 2026, it is also among the rumored details that the launch may take place in London. Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra May Come with More Powerful Hardware One of the details that stood out in the leaks was that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra model could be distinctly different from the standard version. Allegedly, a larger battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh will be used in the device.
It is stated that this change has been prepared especially for the battery performance expectations of foldable phone users. It was reported that there may be differences between the two models on the camera side. While it was claimed that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra would come with a triple camera system including an advanced telephoto lens, it was stated that a simpler camera setup could be preferred in the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 model.
