The new model will be one of the 14 new models that the brand will introduce in non-European markets by 2030 within the scope of the futuREAdy strategic plan. According to Renault’s statement, the new pick-up was prepared for the Latin American market with a strong design, spacious interior, comfortable use and advanced technologies. The model is inspired by the Renault Niagara Concept shown in 2023. Renault uses the name Niagara as the main element describing the character of the new pick-up model. Sylvia dos Santos, who is responsible for the brand’s naming strategy, states that the name Niagara comes from American Indians and refers to the expanse of nature with the roaring sound of water.
