Samsung has started One UI 8.5 stable version distribution for Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The update is initially available to users participating in the beta program in South Korea. The stable version is expected to be rolled out to non-beta users and other regions later. One UI 8.5 stable version has started for Galaxy S25 FE, Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. Samsung’s One UI 8.5 distribution is expanding.
Following the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 also started to receive the stable One UI 8.5 update. The first wave was sent to users in the beta program in South Korea. Therefore, the update is not currently in wide global distribution phase. The stable One UI 8.5 update released for the Galaxy S25 FE is offered primarily to beta users. In Samsung’s distribution model, this stage generally works as the final testing ring.
The update reaches beta participants first, then expands to non-beta users in the same market and then to different regions. There is a similar distribution order on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 side. The stable One UI 8.5 version for foldable models was again first given to beta users in South Korea. The fully stable distribution is expected to reach devices in other countries after being rolled out to non-beta users in South Korea.
Among the innovations that stand out with One UI 8.5 are the improvements on the Galaxy AI side. Photo Assist has been updated with continuous rendering support. This feature allows users to produce different results without having to record separately for each editing or production attempt. When the process is completed, the created content can be reviewed through history and the desired results can be selected. On the Bixby side, there is a more natural language processing-oriented structure with One UI 8.5.
Samsung positions the new Bixby as an assistant that can manage device settings and in-phone operations in a more conversation-oriented way. This change allows users to manage some settings with more natural commands without having to navigate through menus. Now Nudge is one of the prominent topics in the update. On Samsung’s One UI 8.5 page, this feature is shown among the Galaxy AI features that make information and contextual alerts that may be needed during the day more visible.
Photo Assist improvements, renewed design elements, Quick Panel customizations, home screen and lock screen editing options are also among the innovations within the scope of One UI 8.5. However, the full change list of the update released for Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 is not yet clear. Therefore, all device-specific bug fixes, performance improvements and security details will be seen more clearly when wide distribution begins.
What is certain now is that the stable One UI 8.5 process has started for these three models.
