While SGK continues its work against fake and irregular retirement transactions, it was stated that many people were determined to have retired unfairly this year. The institution announced that the retirement rights of retirees who were identified as irregularities were canceled. It was learned that SGK, which took a short break in inspections especially due to the holiday break, will speed up its inspections again after the holiday ends.
In this context, it is stated that the retirement processes of people who are determined to have retired illegally will be stopped. A RETRACTIVE INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN STARTED According to the information obtained, the institution has initiated a large-scale investigation into people who are shown as insured even though they are not actually working. It was stated that SGK detected insurance entries made through businesses known as “nylon companies” and examined these businesses.
In this context, it was learned that notifications were sent to people who were considered to have retired illegally and they were called to testify. It was stated that if fraudulent insurance or irregular premium payments are detected during the investigations, the retirement transactions will be canceled and the salaries paid to date will be demanded back with legal interest. It is stated that the institution has expanded its retrospective investigations to cover many years.
RETIREMENT OF 12 THOUSAND 209 PEOPLE WERE CANCELED In the statement made by SGK, it was announced that a total of 12 thousand 209 people were found to have retired irregularly during the audits carried out in recent years and therefore their retirement was cancelled. On the other hand, experts state that retired citizens within the scope of EYT should carefully check their e-Government service records. It is stated that the relevant institutions should be contacted to prevent suspicious looking insurance records from causing problems in the future.
