According to the written statement made by the Governorship, Şimşek, in his speech at the Public Order Information Meeting, stated that tick cases increase with the summer months. Asking the citizens who will go to rural areas to be cautious, Şimşek said: “With the arrival of the summer months, there has started to be an increase in tick cases within the scope of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever disease.
Unfortunately, we have lost 3 citizens so far. As the Governorship, together with our Special Provincial Administration and relevant institutions, we continue our disinfection support and information activities for our citizens who are engaged in animal husbandry, especially in risky areas. However, it is of great importance that our citizens do not neglect their individual precautions in this process. Especially in rural areas.” It is of vital importance for our citizens who will be present to take the necessary protective measures and to apply to health institutions without delay if they encounter risky situations.
