South Korea introduced to the public its new medium-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle developed for surveillance and reconnaissance missions.

South Korea introduced to the public its new medium-altitude unmanned aerial vehicle developed for surveillance and reconnaissance missions.

The unmanned aerial vehicle was introduced at a ceremony held in Busan by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA).

UAV; It was designed to make real-time discovery of strategic targets such as command centers using its sensors and imaging systems.

According to DAPA, approximately 50% of the aircraft consists of domestically produced components.

Project; LIG Defense with support from the Defense Development Agency

The platform is planned to undergo final flight tests by the Republic of Korea Air Force before entering operational service in 2027.
