Tekatron introduced the new generation 4×4 wheeled Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) developed for the defense industry at SAHA EXPO 2026. The platform developed entirely with company equity; It became one of the remarkable systems of the fair with its high speed, modular architecture and cost-effective structure. 4×4 wheeled UAV, which allows the rapid integration of different payloads such as remote-controlled weapon systems, grenade launchers, sensor packages, FPV drone systems and logistics modules, thanks to its modular structure; It was designed to be used in different operational missions such as reconnaissance, surveillance, combat and logistics support.
Tekatron Electronic Systems Team Leader Beyza Yılmaz explained the features of the vehicle in her statements to Defensehere.com. Stating that İKA was launched at SAHA 2026, Yılmaz said, “Our vehicle is a 100 percent electric, wheeled system. It has many various control infrastructures. It can be used wired and wirelessly. It has a wireless radio frequency communication system. It can also be controlled via 4G.” he said.
Drawing attention to the modular structure of the vehicle, Yılmaz stated that integrations suitable for different mission concepts can be made and said, “The vehicle has a modular design and can be integrated on different payloads. It is a system that allows the integration of up to twenty FPV drones.” he said. Stating that the platform can be used not only for combat missions but also for logistics and evacuation operations, Yılmaz gave the following information: “For example, a cargo basket can be integrated and used for logistics purposes.
A stretcher can be integrated. It can be used to transfer a wounded soldier to a safe area. Or different weapon systems, more capable weapon systems can also be integrated. It is a system with modular features.” Making a statement regarding the technical capacity, Yılmaz stated that the platform weighs 500 kilograms and can carry a payload of up to 300 kilograms. “The platform itself is five hundred kilograms. It has a payload capacity of up to three hundred kilograms.” In addition, it can be controlled from a distance of three kilometers in the LOS environment with a radio frequency communication system.” Noting that the vehicle developed with new generation technologies works with electric motors and battery system, Yılmaz said that İKA attracted great interest from both domestic and abroad at SAHA EXPO: “Our vehicle has new generation technology.
Many subsystems are produced with current technology. The driving infrastructure is controlled by electric motors. A vehicle with a battery system. It attracted a lot of attention at SAHA EXPO. “It attracted a lot of attention from many domestic and international users.” Yılmaz completed his statement with the following words: “We have created a good product both for the use of the Turkish Armed Forces and for the use of friendly and allied countries.
I hope he will perform his duties as planned.
